 Akhilandeshvari: the Goddess Never-Not-Broken © Wicca-Spirituality.com

The Goddess Akhilandeshvari (Never-Not-Broken) is the consummate Goddess for this stage in history — the Shift of Ages that was heralded by the year 2012 — and befriending Her is pivotal to the work we are Called upon to do now.

Everything is breaking down these days:

  • structures
  • social systems
  • lies
  • self-deception
  • selfishness
  • the entire patriarchal paradigm
  • even the ego.

Everything is broken, and we're standing here with all these pieces in our hands, wondering how we'll ever make something whole and beautiful out of this mess. Wondering, even, if we can survive it — or if we want to survive it.

That is the secret wisdom that The Goddess Akhilandeshvari is here to teach us!

Unwrapping The Gift Within The Pain

The Goddess Akhilandeshvari gives us courage. She shows us that to be broken is a valuable gift.

We don't have to resist or resent it when old ways die. Until we are free of the old structures, there is no room for something new to grow.

When even our mindset is collapsing, the potential for a new vision is unlimited! Like cracking an atom: immense energies are released from a breaking structure.

This is the gift of destruction. If we are wise, we can see the potential being unleashed, and harness it to serve a vision of a better future.

Going with the Flow

The Goddess Akhilandeshvari shows us that we can flow with change, without trying to hang on to control. That we can trust in the process. That we can stay on top of our survival fears, and not let them ride us to their own short-sighted ends.

The Hopi Prophecy for this transition to a New World confirms that this ability is the greatest power we can have, and the safest path through this tumultuous Transition.

You know that feeling when things are so far out of control that you give up fighting it… when events sweep you up like a tidal wave, and all you can do is try to ride it out? At that moment, all that is in your power is to open your heart to the Divine in desperation and pray, "Please, see me through this!"

And you know how, once you've given it up to the Divine, pieces start to fall into place miraculously and effortlessly?

And how things work out even better than you had imagined?

THAT is the supreme power of surrender.

That is the special power of The Goddess Akhilandeshvari.

Initiation and Transformation

In our ritual-starved, initiation-deprived culture, The Goddess Akhilandeshvari represents the one initiatory rite that can't be shunned.

We are each initiated through our grief, suffering, and angst, and no one gets through life without some pain. But we can "fail" to complete the Transformation, if we try to ignore it or return to our ordinary life too quickly.

And the temptation is to abandon the initiation in mid-stream.

It's painful, and it's scary, and there are no role models in our culture of what this Transformation looks like. Our society gives us a week's bereavement or maternity leave or whatever, and then expects us to be back to work, back to normal.

If only it worked like that!

We must give the process its due, and honour the changes that we experience. We must allow ourselves to drift in confusion, and feel all our feelings. Only by going through the entire process, consciously, can we graduate to a higher level of awareness.

And the Goddess Akhilandeshvari is here to show us how to do it.

How To Reverence A Goddess Like This

The Goddess Akhilandeshvari doesn't promise to fix everything. She doesn't promise to fix ANYthing. She's not one of the those cozy Mother Goddesses you can go to, to kiss it better and make everything alright.

Her power is not for the timid of heart...

  • She doesn't offer you a smooth ride, but a wild and amazing one.
  • She doesn't offer a comfortable solution, but an empowered one.

  • She doesn't give you security, but she displaces your reality so thoroughly that you discover you've actually been safe all along.

She happily receives your offering of everything you thought was real and important, and gives you only one thing in return...

Direct, personal experience of the Divine!

What Do You Pray, To A Goddess Like That?

Well, the only thing I can think to do is shout is the Rumi prayer, dance the Hafiz tango, sing the Hildegaard hymn: "Kill me, Goddess! Help me break apart and plant Yourself in the ashes. Let only the Divine live here!"

When your pain is too intense to bear, your heart runs to Akhilandeshvari, crying: "Nothing makes sense! Nothing seems real! Everything is entirely worthless."

And She hugs you and rocks you and laughs with delight that you are finally beginning to see the heart of Truth and the seed of Power… and She agrees!

She will whisper in your ear, "Blessed are we who suffer, for this prayer has been danced for us by the Universe, and we find comfort in the Divine."

Then She invites you to dive into that nothingness, and discover Everything.

Hang On To Her, And Let Go Of Everything Else

The Goddess Akhilandeshvari has been marginalized by Western society. We who value control above all else, can't even abide Her existence.

But She does exist. And She can't be denied her due any longer.

She's very visible in the breaking of all the systems of the Earth, and the glimmer of a bright new world that we can see peeking through. She didn't create this situation, but She's willing to lead us through it.

Our only choices are to fight the process — to paste ourselves back into a fragile whole, and try to avoid the next crushing, inevitable blow — or to welcome Akhilandeshvari's transformative Kiss.

The Holy Goddess Akhilandeshvari,
Who Resides Behind Grief And Disaster

There are times when your life is dumped it upside down, shaking out everything that is not real, in the ultimate sense of reality. Times when every confidence and certainty you held dissolves into nothingness. Times when you are crumbled into pieces so small you have no idea what's holding them on the Earth.

Nowadays, these times seem to happen weekly!

But if you follow the example of the Goddess Akhilandeshvari, you are then reborn with powers and wisdom you never dreamt possible.

I don't know if it's possible for mortals to live continuously with the Goddess Akhilandeshvari in the formless state of Transformation, but one thing is sure. The more comfortable we are with Her process, the more successfully and gracefully we will navigate this tumultuous passage of the Earth's transformation.

As the Hopi Prophecy tells us, those who cling to what seems solid will be washed away with much agony, while those who let go and allow then river to carry them will float through these changes with joy... and good companionship.

With Brightest Blessings,
