Merry Meet! Welcome to the Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine!

This issue I'd like to offer you a few Samhain goodies — open access to 2 pages (plus the collection of seasonal chants) from the first Samhain lesson in A Year & A Day: 53 Weeks to Becoming a Wiccan.

Before we get to that, though, I'd like to share a bit of what's going on for me, and see if you might wish to help me out.

If you've been following my work for a while, you've seen that over the last few years, it has been decreasing.

Fewer new articles in the 'Zine and the website, less outreach on Facebook and Twitter... I even had to stop answering emails from non-students (and am struggling to keep up with those from students).

I'm now, sadly, at the point where I can hardly manage any work at all, and it's still declining.

The reason for this reluctant reduction in my Service to you, the Wiccan community, and the Goddess — as you may already know — is that I've been dealing with increasingly severe illness for a few years.

Well, I'm now at a rather critical state where I have to take drastic action to heal, or (at the risk of being melodramatic) else. I'm still on a downward slide without much further to go, and this new treatment seems to be my best hope for turning things around.

The difficulty?

It's very expensive! I mean, as probably everyone who's had to treat a serious long-term illness knows, it's very expensive all the way along, but so far I've been able to manage. This new term of treatment, though, costs a lot more.

I don't know if you'd like to help, or even if you can, but at the urging of my healing coach, I'm asking my community for help. If you could contribute something to help me afford this treatment and, I sincerely hope, regain my health, I would appreciate it so much!

Then I'd be able to get back to my Mission! There's so much more I have to offer you! There's so much more I can do for Wicca and the Earth! I dearly want the opportunity to share it.

Ancestors Chant For Samhain

Also, here's a chant you can do at any time, really, and especially potent in the Samhain season. The page linked below gives you the chant as well as how to use it...
