Changes to the Zine Schedule - Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine #56-a
April 01, 2017
Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine
Special Notice
Merry Meet!
This is a special notice that the Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine is changing its schedule. Instead of coming out 6 times a year (which really confuses the Sabbats situation), we're moving to a quarterly format!
This means, there'll be a new issue for each season:
Winter
Nov, Dec, Jan
Samhain Yule/Winter Solstice
Spring
Feb, March, April
Imbolc/Brighid Eostara/Spring Equinox
Summer
May, June, July
Beltaine Litha/Summer
Solstice
Autumn (Harvest)
August, Sept, Oct
Lammas/Lughnasadh Mabon/HarvestHome/Fall Equinox
This allows me to group the similar Sabbats together, which makes more sense. Also, I'm looking forward to being able to refer to "the Spring issue" instead of naming the months in question.
And it allows me more time for dealing one on one with the Year & A Day students! I'm really enjoying the new, more-interactive course format... but it does take extra time.
Though I do give very heartfelt thanks to Linda N. for her wonderful and much-appreciated assistance with registrations and the forum.
Shout-out, Linda!!
You may not know this, but it generally takes around 2 or 3 weeks to put together each issue of the Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine! Even with trying to streamline, it was becoming impossible to manage it all, pretty much single-handedly.
In fact, I'd considered letting go of the 'Zine completely.
But
with almost 16 thousand subscribers (can you believe it?! 16,000! ), that's far too many loyal readers to let down!
This kind of incredible popularity shows that the Silver Chalice must be doing something right. It'd be a terrible shame to let it fold. Instead, I'm hoping to make it more manageable.
So we're going to start with this Summer. Instead of April 1st, the next issue will come out on May 1st.
I'm sorry if you'll miss the 6-issues format. But I'm confident you'll continue to find the Silver Chalice Wiccan 'Zine well worth waiting for.
See you for the Summer issue, next month!
With Bright Blessings,
