Ask And It Is Given is one of the most powerful resource books I've ever found on manifesting what you want in your life, and keeping away what you don't want. One of the top 10 books everyone should read for a happy successful life.

When Ask And It Is Given was recommended to me, my first thought was . . . Do I really need one more book on positive thinking and manifestation?

As it turns out, yes! Yes, I really did.

My second thought was (I must admit) . . . Oh no, not another "channeled entity."

That's where the "author" as Abraham-Hicks originates. Abraham is the name of the channeled entity — actually, entities — that Esther and Jerry Hicks write for.

Ordinarily, I'm cautious of people claiming to speak for omniscient beings and rarely read their books.

Having given Abraham-Hicks the benefit of the doubt since it was so highly recommended to me, I found the book surprisingly down to earth, with practical exercises that really work!

A Revolutionary Outlook

I did have a complaint when I began reading, that there is a lot of repetition. Abraham-Hicks says much the same thing, over and over in different ways. And at first I found it irritating.

Once I started to understand how revolutionary and vital their guidance was, however, my irritation vanished. Instead I was grateful that I had so many opportunities to retrain my brain's neural pathways!

The simple fact is that this isn't the kind of information you can assimilate quickly. In fact, it goes directly against millennia of genetic patterning and a lifetime of social conditioning.

I needed those repetitions, so that I could really OWN the knowledge.

Which brings us to the best part . . .

How You Can Use This Book

Some people sit down and read Ask And It Is Given straight through, like a novel. I wonder how much they actually achieve this way.

I find that when reading Ask And It Is Given, neural pathways and energy fields are actually transforming.

So it's useful to read it in small bites: a paragraph or page here, a chapter there. Pay attention to when your mind feels thick with new understanding. Stop there, and give yourself time to really assimilate the new perspective.

My Experiences with Ask And It Is Given

In fact, this book is so effective at re-ordering one's mental and emotional states that you can read Ask And It Is Given as a daily spiritual practice.

A bit every night before sleeping and a bit every morning when you awaken — even if only one sentence — sets an energy field that is uplifting and empowering.

Doing this myself, I've noticed significant changes in my mood and my life experiences. I still "crash" from time to time, but the lows are less intense and pass much more quickly.

In fact, if you do the exercises in the second half of the book, you can transform negative emotions and energy states almost immediately!

This section of Ask And It Is Given offers you 22 amazing tools that can turn your life around.

Pardon me for gushing, but I have had this experience for myself, several times, through the lessons in this book.

And it can happen immediately!

It feels so wonderful and so empowering to be able to take control of your life experiences.

A must-read for every Wiccan, if not every human.

• Even carry it around with you, if reading it is too much.
• Read a little every morning first thing when you wake up and — especially! — last thing before you sleep.
• Read it every time you start to feel negative emotions start to build.
• Do the exercises — they will change your life!
